
Low Histamine Bone Broth
Bone broth is known to help repair the gut but prolonged cooking of animal products can be problematic for those with histamine intolerance. This recipe will let you enjoy the benefits of bone broth without worrying about the histamine side effects!

- 1 instapot or pressure cooker
Ingredients
- bones from poultry, fish, beef, or lamb
- 1-2 tbsp lemon juice or apple cider vinegar
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 carrots
- 1 onion
- 2 celery stalks
- 1/2 cup fresh Parsley chopped or 2 tbsp dried parsley
- 1-2 tsp sage
- 1-2 tsp rosemary
- 1-2 tsp thyme
- 2-3 bay leaves
- 10-12 cups filtered water (enough to cover the ingredients)
Instructions
- 1. Place the bones along with the veggies, apple cider vinegar, and salt and spices into the base of the Instant Pot.2. Fill the instant pot to the max line with water.3. Push the soup button and manually change the time to 120 minutes.4. Allow the Instant Pot to depressurize naturally.Strain the broth and store in silicone molds in the freezer. *Freeze right away to prevent the formation of histamine*Note: Vinegar can promote histamine release. Use lemon if very sensitive
